Dan Felix, Marketing Manager / 3-September-2019

You may have heard a lot in the technology press that Microsoft are ending support across many of their legacy products. In July 2019, Microsoft ended support for SQL Server 2008 and in January 2020 they’ll also been ending support for Windows Server 2008, Exchange Server 2010 and Windows 7. Then in October 2020, support for Office 2010 will also come to an end.

This simply means that Microsoft will no longer offer any support across these services, they will no longer provide software updates and, more crucially, they will not be developing security patches. This results in the possibility that many businesses will be operating products that, if they go wrong, Microsoft will not be offering help, support or fixes to anyone with these versions, putting your business at greater risk of a security attack.

But fear not! There are several upgrade paths open to your business to a secure and supported product, and we can help you find the path to help you!

To help you on your way, we created an in-depth user guide that details all the options available to you and why you need to upgrade. You can download it from here.
